RiverKings teach hockey in the heat

Despite the hot summertime weather, hockey continues in the Mid-South – roller hockey, that is.
The Spring League season concludeds on Saturday, June 19th, with the championship game at 10 a.m.

Despite the season’s end, there will be more fun at the Hernando Civic Center with roller hockey summer camps.
Registration is currently underway for what will be two summer camps this year.
The first camp will be a FREE learn-to-inline skate camp. The dates and times for this camp are Tuesday, July 6 until Friday, July 9th from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
The second one will be the regular summer roller hockey camp. The camp is  Monday, July 12 until Friday, July 16 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Jr. StreetKings program, a part of Hernando Youth Sports, has over 40 players ages 5-14 who are taught skating and hockey skill fundamentals while having a fun time and learning life skills.
