REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Board of Commissioners of the Tunica County Utility District requests proposals from qualified engineers for service under a grant that the District has received from EPA through the State and Tribal Assistance Grant Program. An Information to Bidders Sheet regarding the proposed work is available upon request from the District’s Secretary, 1300 School Street, P.O. Box 217, Tunica, MS, 38676, telephone 662-363-2451 from the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The same is also on file in the Chancery Clerk’s office located in the Tunica County Courthouse, 1300 School Street, P.O. Box 217, Tunica, Tunica County, Mississippi, 38676, telephone 662-363-2451. The proposals will be accepted by the District’s Secretary at her office listed above until 11:45 a.m. on December 6, 2010. Proposals submitted after that time will not be considered. The proposals will be opened and reviewed by a review committee. The proposals and the review committee=s recommendation will be presented to the Tunica County Utility District Board of Commissioners at the December 7, 2010 meeting of the Board of Supervisors to be held beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Board Room located in the Tunica County Courthouse, 1300 School Street, Tunica, Tunica County, Mississippi.
No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of forty five (45) days following its submission. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities in the proposals or the submission process.
All proposals will be rated on the following system to determine the best firm:
Description and Maximum Points: Qualifications – 40, Experience – 40, Capacity – 20, Total – 100 Points.
