NOTICE OF SUBMISSION TO THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL UNDER SECTION 5 OF THE VOTING RIGHTS ACT
OF 1965, AS AMENDED AND EXTENDED, CONCERNING THE PROPOSED LOCATION OF THE POLLING PLACE FOR ELECTION
PRECINCT 3, SUPERVISOR’S DISTRICT 2

Please take note that the Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi has submitted to the Attorney General of the United States a submission of the Board proposing to relocate the polling place for Election Precinct 3, Supervisor’s District 2.   This submission was made and filed in accordance with Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended and extended.  A duplicate copy of the submission is available for public inspection at the office of the Chancery Clerk of Tunica County, Mississippi, 1300 School Street, P.O. Box 217, Tunica, Mississippi  38676, (662) 363-2451.  The public is invited to make comments concerning the same to the following address:

A copy of this notice shall be published once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in The Tunica Times, a newspaper having general circulation in Tunica County.  Also, a copy of this notice is being posted at the Tunica County Courthouse.
