CCC players commit to play at next level

Coahoma Men’s Basketball and Head Coach Michael Stringer are excited and overjoyed as four key contributors sign letters of intent to attend four-year institutions to play basketball.

Malik Bailey signed with the University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL). Marcus Summerville, Nikosi King, and Gregory Talbot have signed with Fisk University (Nashville, TN).

Bailey averaged 13 points and four rebounds per game this season. He had five games scoring over 20 points including a season-high 32 points, four rebounds and three assists against Northeast Mississippi Community College on Feb. 15, 2018.

He recently played in the 2018 MACJC All-Star Game on Friday, Apr. 13, 2018, at East Central Community College in Decatur, MS. He finished with four points, two rebounds, and an assist.
