Margaret's Musings 2.0: Chasing a dream all the way to Georgia
There are two things I’ve always believed about dreams. 1) When you say them out loud, they sound completely crazy. 2) When you try to map out how to accomplish them, that nervous/ sick feeling in your stomach always sets in.
For a couple of years now, I’ve had a dream that has met the Coker Dream criteria. It’s no big secret that I play tennis, but for most of my very amateur tennis career, I’ve been a doubles player. The dream in my head and in my heart has been to become a singles player. I don’t expect to ever play at Wimbledon, mind you, but I did and do want to become a competitive singles player. Don’t worry, this is a nights and weekends dream. I don’t intend for this to become a career.
