Cookin with The Columns: The start of a beautiful ‘friendship’
Amish friendship bread is making its way around town. I’ve made Amish bread at several different times through the years. It’s different from the sour dough bread that I have made on a regular basis for 30+ years. This is more of a breakfast/snack type bread. You keep a starter, add ingredients along the way, eventually make bread with the starter and then give the other starters to friends who will do the same thing.
