Tunica rallies for Madysen
A community-wi
de benefit for Madysen Acey has been set for Saturday, May 15 at the Catfish Warehouse.
“Tunica for Madysen” features great music, food and fellowship to assist the Acey family while 10-year-old Madysen recovers from electrical burns.
“We knew immediately we wanted to do something to help,” benefit organizer Vic Ware said. “Right away, so many other people have gotten involved in this.”
Three bands have volunteered to play: Teacher’s Pet, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and The Weevils from 7-9, in the parking lot outside, and the Turnrow Cowboys, from 9-11 p.m. inside.
Admission is $25 per person and includes one food plate and one soft drink per person. The benefit is free for children under five.
