Natasha Bates and Asia Sims are the newest stars in Dundee Elementary’s constellation, following the announcement of results from the MCT2 for the 2009-2010 school year.
Both teachers led their fourth grade classes to exceed state averages in their respective areas. Bates teaches math and science and 96 percent of her students scored proficient and above. Sims focuses on reading and language arts; 88 percent of her students scored proficient and above.
Both agreed that success in the classroom takes dedication.
