School district is losing a dedicated employee
Once again, Carolyn Steele faces one of the biggest days of her career. She has anticipated plenty of moments like the one to come. This time, though, she will be closing a chapter in her career instead of starting a new one.
Steele recently announced her plan to retire from Tunica County School District (TCSD) effective June 30. She spent the last 33 years working in various positions including high school secretary, secretary to the superintendent, and, most recently, payroll manager.
