Health Council awards 1st qtr. champs
Tunica, Miss. – The Tunica Meltdown was awarded the Regional Health Council’s Health Champion for the 1st quarter.
The Regional Health Council (RHC), a program under the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, supports health initiatives including: childhood obesity, smoking ordinances, physical activity, nutrition, early childhood education/nutrition, farmers’ markets, school/community gardens, built environments, faith-based health, and providing access to locally grown foods through the 4Rivers Food Hub.
