Services for Morris “Smitty” Smith, 76, of Tunica, formerly of Covington, were held at 1 p.m. on May 12 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel, with burial in R. H. Munford Cemetery in Covington.
Mr. Smith, a retired ironworker, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010. He was an ironworker from 1965 until his retirement in 1995 and a member of the Ironworkers Union Local 167. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
