Town looks at finances after county vote
“In light of the threat of the loss of significant revenue, I move that the town take immediate steps to raise revenues and cut expenses, including making the water and sewer system self sustaining,” Ward 4 Aldermen Brooks Taylor said at the Nov. 4 meeting of the board and Mayor.
Town Clerk Celia Boren called for a roll call vote and the motion passed unanimously.
