FACEBOOK FAN SPOTLIGHT: Sundra Granberry is a 1999 graduate of Rosa Fort High. After high school, she attended the University of Memphis, later transferring to George State University.
She returned to Tunica, where she worked for Coahoma Community College in their Adult Basic Education department. While working for CCC, she attended the University of Mississippi, earning a master’s degree in Accounting. In 2006, she went to work for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she is still employed. She is married to Deidrick Granberry, who is a 12 year employee of the Tunica County School District. They are the proud parents of Undreanna, who is a varsity cheerleader in her senior year at Rosa Fort High School. Granberry said what she loves most about Tunica is “its evolution. I watched Tunica grow and improve on scales some thought were not possible. Although some are hesitant to change, I believe there’s a desire for better that will not be stifled,” Granberry said.
