With just under two weeks to go,  Relay For Life officials want the community to know there’s still time to get involved.
Relay on the River benefitting the American Cancer Society will be held August 27 in Rivergate Park from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
“Tunica County hosted a Relay For Life for years, but it died out here for a time. This is the second year since we’ve regrouped and reorganized. Last year was awesome and we know this year can be even better with the community’s help,” Relay For Life Event Chairman Meg Coker said.
Coker said there are a variety of ways to get involved, from ribbons of support to starting a team.
