Kathlynne Reed Thornton, 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 14, 2013 in Reno, Nevada.
Kathlynne was born on Easter Sunday, April 23, 1916 in Anguilla, MS and made Tunica her home for over 70 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Ernest Reed Sr. and Susie Ellis Reed; siblings Sue Ellis Reed, Harold Mathys Reed, Gene Lionel Reed, Mildred Reed Handley, Presley Orelle Reed, Bill Ellis Reed, John Ernest Reed Jr. and Hildreth Reed Mathews; a daughter Jacquelynne Jones Griggs; and husbands Jacquense Porter Jones Jr. and the Honorable James Walker Thornton.
