No CEO named for clinics
The search for a chief executive officer for the Tunica County Healthcare Authority will continue, following a deadlocked vote at the Feb. 4 meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
Current CEO Dr. Gene Osborn introduced the healthcare authority board’s top candidate to officials at the start of the meeting. Osborn announced his retirement in December but agreed to stay on until a replacement could be named.
The candidate said she was looking forward to working for Tunica County and being a part of the community.
Supervisor Henry Nickson asked if the candidate would move to Tunica in the future.
