Seminar combats cyber crime
Countering terrorism remains the number one priority of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but cyber crime is a growing threat, according to agent Scott Wells.
Wells presented a tutorial on cyber threats January 7 at the Tunica Museum, courtesy of Covenant Bank.
Wells said that 1.5 million people are selling information as part of a “cyber underground” that has become as sophisticated as more traditional types of organized crime.
