Ward’s third novel set to debut
In a scene right out of an epic crime-fighting novel, it was routine for former undercover agent Rick Ward to keep his finger on the trigger of a sub-machine gun as he negotiated a drug deal with a suspected drug lord.
Ward, who was also the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department chief investigator in the late 1970s, would then slap on a pair of handcuffs and cart the poor unsuspecting criminal off to jail. Read more
