I am very saddened about the proposed budget cut for Tunica Humane Society(THS). I am a Veterinarian in Memphis,Tn and have been associated with THS for the past three years. As a past member of the Board of Directors for the Memphis Humane Society, I am fully aware of  what an asset THS is to the entire county. Their mission of saving countless animals lives is obvious; however, I suspect the Board of Supervisors is not aware of another invaluble service they are providing. That service is that of Public Health Safety.
