Short film features vision, talent of native
As a child, Jason Perry envisioned himself being on the silver screen.
While the Tunica native actually landed a career in the banking industry, he stayed true to his passion and followed his dreams of becoming an actor.
After netting several minor roles in local independent films over the past few years, Perry decided to try another path to movie fame.
“I got started writing by going to the Red West acting class – ‘Acting for the Camera’,” said Perry, who now resides in Hernando. “I started going to these classes with these other guys and never got any of the major parts, so we said, ‘ to heck with this; we’ll make our own movie.’”
