Cookin with The Columns: Recipes with history
Recently Brooks showed me a cookbook that was printed by the Tunica Woman’s Club in May of 1921. It has lots of delicious recipes in it as well as ads from Tunica businesses from that era. The ads were especially interesting, such as businesses with two-digit phone numbers and places that no longer exist.
