The Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation Board celebrated the awarding of scholarships at their May 15 meeting. For the 2012-13 year, the Foundation will award 416 scholarships for a total of $312,000 in scholarship dollars that will help cover the cost of tuition for incoming freshman and returning sophomores this fall. Since 1996, the Foundation has awarded $1.5 million in scholarships.
