Cancer conquerors to be celebrated at capital

Join Baptist Cancer Services, a division of Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., on Sunday, June 3, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Old Capitol Inn for National Cancer Survivors Day.
This free event honors the lives of those surviving and battling cancer. This year’s guest speaker will be cancer survivor Walter Redden and the guest emcee will be radiation oncologist Richard Friedman, MD.
