Break in rates ahead
Customers of Entergy Mississippi, Inc., who already pay among the lowest rates in the nation, will see their rates drop further than earlier announced through April, May and June.
The typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt hours per month will pay roughly $87.60 beginning April 1, this is about $7.48 less than the average monthly amount paid in March. It’s also $5.60 less than the typical residential customer paid during the second quarter of 2011, when 1,000 kWh of electricity cost approximately $93.20.
