Today was Grandparent’s Day at Scott Anthony’s school, so of course we went.  If you are not a grandparent yet, just wait!  It’s the best “job” in the world--lots more fun than being a parent because you can spoil the grandchildren and then let the parents do the disciplining.  
Here’s a great, quick recipe for cookies that you can make with your grandchildren.  Because you can choose the flavor and the add-ins, you can use just exactly what you know your grandchildren like.  For example, if they like nuts, add them; if they don’t like nuts, leave them out.  They will love helping you mix them up, drop them on the cookie sheet, decorate them when they are done, and then eat them all up.
