Tunica runner goes distance for St. Jude
When Tunica native Jim Arrington decided to drop a few pounds in 2009, he took up the sport of running to assist him in his weight loss efforts.
Since that time, Arrington has developed an appreciation for running, participating in a number of races, from 3 to 13 miles in distance. Now, he’s setting his sights on the granddaddy of running events – a full marathon – and he’s driven to finish the race, not for himself, but for the children of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
