Open Your Eyes, Tunica County
She was a little chocolate pitbull puppy tied to a concrete block in White Oak. Starved beyond belief. No food, no water, no shelter. The lady said the dog was her son’s and he was supposed to take care of it. But he had moved out and she wasn’t having anything to do with that dog. So the puppy just lingered there starving to death. That is how “Baby” came to live at our shelter. For months we have nurtured that abused dog, taught her how to play with other dogs, fattened her up and loved on her every single day.
