On Saturday, September 10, 2011 TCRC Football traveled to Clarksdale to play the Riverton Ravens in the season opener.  The 7 & 8 year old group played three quarters of football with a scoreless game, until J. Vaughn broke for a 63-yard score with seven seconds left in the quarter to give Tunica a 6-0 lead.  Tunica defense played tough the rest of the way to keep the Ravens scoreless for the game.  
Nine & 10 year olds started the game with a bang, when Timothy Brown broke the first play from scrimmage to go 80 yards for a touchdown. Tunica continued to add to the lead behind several offensive players (J. Dockery, K. Campbell, J. Johnson & Timothy Brown).  Tunica won the game 42-6.
