When we found out that the water was coming, we had nowhere to go, and my mother is 77 years young and can’t stand or walk very long. I asked Jan Weldon if she knew of anywhere we could go. She gave me the name and phone number of Gloria & Charles Hailey; they own the bed and breakfast in town. I called and she was so sweet, she gave us a great deal to stay there for the duration of the flood and until we could move back home.
