Services for Byron Mabry, 41, of Saltillo, MS, were held at 2 p.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Tupelo chapel of Holland Funeral Directors, with Bro. Terry Ledbetter, Dr. Ken Anderson, Rep. Steve Holland and Sammy Lansdell officiating. Sheriff K.C. Hamp and the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department provided law enforcement honors. Private burial was in Lee Memorial Park.
Mabry, retired from law enforcement, died Saturday, May 28 at his home. His last employment before being injured in the line of duty in 2000 and becoming disabled was as a deputy in Tunica County.
