Dr. and Mrs. Edward Randolph Turnbull of Laurel, Mississippi, announce the engagement of their daughter Marshall Leigh Turnbull of Nashville, Tenn., and Townes Boyd Johnson III of Greenville, SC. He is the son of Mrs. James Gowen Johnson III of Greenville, SC, and the late Mr. Johnson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jett Perry of Tunica, Miss. and the late Dr. and Mrs. Randolph Beaton Turnbull of Memphis, Tenn.
She is a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where she earned a Masters in Education. She is currently the Director of Alumni Relations for Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville.
