Tunica lost a loving wife and mother, doting grandmother, gentle spirit and faithful Christian on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
Mrs. Effie Mae Earnheart, 86, of Tunica passed away surrounded by her family at Tunica Nursing Home. Services were held on Thursday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Danny Smith and Rev. Artie Nute officiating. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Earnheart, or Mammo as she was affectionately called by her loved ones, was born on Oct. 9, 1924. She grew in Grenada, Miss. and later graduated from Webb High School. She came to work for the Woolfolk Company in Tunica, where she met Aubrey Earnheart. The couple married in 1949 and celebrated 46 wonderful years together until his death in 1995.
