Services for Christine Simmerman, 86, formerly of Tunica, were held March 8, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home in Tunica with Danny Smith officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery.

Ms. Simmerman died March 5, 2011 in Hattiesburg, Miss.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Simmerman of Hattiesburg, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
