Hill, Tackett to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lynn Hill announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Martha Lynn to Justin VanDyke Tackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Charles Tackett, III of Southaven and Mr. Danny Wayne VanDyke of Decatur, Alabama.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Allen Pegram, Sr. and the late Shirley Pegram and the late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Hill, all of Tunica.
Martha Lynn is a graduate of Tunica Institute of Learning and The University of Mississippi, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education.  While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is currently employed as a teacher at Greenbrook Elementary School in Southaven.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Eugene Bloodworth, Sr. and Mrs. Ann Tackett and the late George Charles Tackett Jr., all of Southaven.
Justin is a graduate of Southaven High School and Northeast Community College.  He is now enrolled as a student at the University of Mississippi.  He is currently employed as a registered Polysomnographic Technician with Methodist Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee.
The couple will exchange vows at the First Baptist Church in Tunica at six o’clock in the evening on Saturday, June 26, 2010.  A reception will follow at the Desoto Civic Center in Southaven.
Following a honeymoon in Montego Bay, the couple will make their home in Southaven.
