Community Foundation lends a hand

The Youth Financial Literacy Program in Quitman, Coahoma, Tallahatchie, Tunica and Panola counties will receive a boost through the recent grant to the Quitman County Development Organization by the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi.  The $20,000 grant will assist QCDO in expanding its Quitman County program and continue the work in afterschool settings  Pictured at the grant presentation are QCDO Chairman Manuel Killebrew, QCDO Youth Director Pearl Watts, QCDO Executive Director Robert L. Jackson, Community Foundation President Tom Pittman, and QCDO Board member Rev. Reginald Griffin.   Betty Jo Dulaney and Campbell Melton represent Tunica County on the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors.
