Andrews, White exchange vows

Rebecca Stewart Andrews of Fort Worth, Texas and William Ewing White of Memphis, Tennessee were united in marriage on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at half past seven o’clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. Dr. William Longsworth officiated. A reception followed at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Richard Andrews, junior of Fort Worth. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dan Plunk of Dallas and the late Dr. and Mrs. Donald Richard Andrews of Tyler, Texas, and the step-granddaughter of Mrs. Joe Dan Plunk of Dallas.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Caperton White of Memphis. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Battle Bell Ewing of Robinsonville, Miss., and the late Dr. and Mrs. William Ezzell White of Anniston, Alabama.     
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose a dress designed by Vera Wang. The strapless, modified A-line wedding gown of organza and satin was cut on the bias and featured grosgrain ribbon bows cascading down the back. To complement her dress, the bride wore a chapel length silk tulle veil.
Maid of honor was Virginia Peterson Andrews of Fort Worth, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Allison Diane Bujnoch of Spring, Texas, Julie Wise Cato of Nashville, Tenn., Phyllis Caroline Gardner of Memphis, Margot Allen Goss of Dallas, Courtney Shea Hale of Lufkin, Texas, Blair Elizabeth Hix, Heather Lawrie Shepherd and Catherine Elizabeth Miley, all of Houston, Lacy Taylor Mattek of Tyler, Melissa Louise Page of Fort Worth, and Kimberly Nicole Redmond of Sugar Land, Texas.
Flower girls were Anna Katherine Jasinski, Maren Elise Jasinski and Mila Barnwell Jasinski, cousins of the groom, all of Hyattsville, Maryland.
Best man was John Caperton White of Memphis, father of the groom. Groomsmen were John Caperton White, junior and Richard Whitaker White, brothers of the groom, Paul Trowbridge Gillespie, III, Bruce Bond Hopkins, junior, Daniel Phillip McDow and William Brandon O’Mell, all of Memphis, Wade Wylie Blackburn of Grand Prairie, Texas, Captain Battle Bell Ewing, II of Byhalia, Miss., Kyle Daniel Goss of Dallas, and William Alvin Landreth, III of Fort Worth.  
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Fort Worth Country Day and a 2005 graduate of Southern Methodist University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was a 2003 Steeplechase debutante and the 2002 Duchess of Fort Worth in the Tyler Rose Festival. She is currently an Associate at Baron Capital Management in New York City.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Memphis University School and a 2005 graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  He is currently an Associate in the Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking Group at Wells Fargo Securities in New York City.
Following a honeymoon in Anguilla, the couple will reside in Manhattan.
