From the Senate
Week of March 2, 2018
This week we passed House Bill 155, to rename the Mississippi Craft Center in Ridgeland for former Governor Bill Waller Sr., who served from 1972 until 1976 and died in 2011.
We passed House Bill 944 that would allow veterans diagnosed with PTSD to use and enter facilities with their support or therapy animals, like service dogs - as do blind individuals.
Our passage of House Bill 380 would allow cities to form agreements with rural water associations to cut off water service to sewage customers whose bills are 30 days past due as a means of debt collection.
