Message, symbol of unity crossing county lines
Then Jesus said to his disciples. “If any man come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Luke 9:23.
For 82 days, teenagers in 82 counties across Mississippi will have an opportunity to do what Jesus asked, taking up the cross and carrying it on a journey to the state capitol. The effort deemed “Mississippi Glowing for Christ” will make its way into Tunica County on Oct. 20 and is a partnership between Mission Mississippi and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
