Disaster often brings out the best and the worst in people, but in one Tunica community, citizens are working hard to see the best prevail.
The record Mississippi River flood of 2011 brought widespread devastation to the entire middle United States. While Tunica and other counties in the Mississippi Delta were protected by the Yazoo/Mississippi Delta levee systems, one local development on the river side of the levee took the brunt of the flooding.
