Food Bank, Tyson to distribute food in the Delta
For the third time in five years, food insecure families in four counties in North Mississippi will receive healthy chicken products thanks to a generous donation from Tyson Foods to be distributed by Mid-South Food Bank.
On Thursday, Aug. 15, a tractor trailer delivered 30,000 pounds of frozen chicken products from a Tyson plant in Russellville, Ark., for Quitman, Panola, Quitman and Coahoma counties.
