Cookin with The Columns: Cornbread
This time of the year, there’s nothing better than a dinner of fresh vegetables and cornbread. I love fresh tomatoes, okra, corn on the cob, lima beans, and purple hull peas. Here’s a great cornbread recipe that is from Annette Gibson’s mother, Mrs. DeBerry. She was a wonderful cook. It makes a big batch though, so share some with your neighbors when you make it!
