Bands battle to perform at Delta Country Jam
NASHVILLE —The Delta Country Jam, a two-day country music festival October 4-5 on the Abbay & Leatherman Plantation in Tunica, is offering local and regional artists to compete in front of thousands of concert-goers. The Battle of the Bands, presented by Zuus Country, began accepting applications starting July 19.
Local and regional artists should submit a music video or a creative video to show the personality and talent of the band. Cover songs are allowed, but original songs are preferred. Only full band and solo acoustic performances are accepted; no performances to tracks will be allowed. The top 10 semi-finalists will be selected by August 19 and will be up for fan voting. Fan voting ends on September 9, and the winners will be announced.
