Symposium attracts developers
Enhancing the county was the topic at a symposium at Gold Strike Casino on June 27 and 28.
InvesTunica was coordinated by APD Solutions of Atlanta and Tunica County to bring developers to the table for a first hand look at local opportunities and incentives. Fifteen people from various sectors attended.
“It was real people with real money,” Tunica County Housing Director Mardis Jones said, noting that several investors will be returning to Tunica for follow-up visits in the next two weeks.
“It went better than we ever expected,” Jones added.
The event included an investor reception on Thursday followed by an informative session on Friday.
