Aldermen set April 11 preservation hearing
The Town of Tunica took the next step toward establishment of a local historic district at Tuesday’s Board of Aldermen meeting. The board set an April 11 hearing to consider the boundaries of the district, which were recommended to the board by the town’s Historic Preservation Commission.
“The Commission is eager to move forward,” town planner Bob Barber reported. “Tunica has a great downtown, and these preservation programs, if administered properly, are a great benefit.”
