District aims to reduce dropout rate
Fahrenheit Creative Group, LLC (FCG) was retained by the Mississippi Department of Education’s (MDE) Office of Dropout Prevention to develop and launch a new statewide campaign for youth in grades 7-12. The Go HARD (Heart. Attitude. Resilience. Dedication) Campaign incorporates live events, web, mobile and social media elements to stimulate and support the local dropout prevention efforts of school districts throughout the state.
Youth were engaged through on-campus events that highlighted some of the startling statewide and national statistics and provided with information on resources available in the school to help students graduate. The next phase of the campaign was focused on showing youth the support network present in the community, and was planned to be implemented as part of the Go HARD Tour that took place during the week of spring break – March 9 – March 16.
