District reading fair winners advancing
Students and parents from schools throughout the Tunica County School District showed up on the Rosa Fort High School campus for the annual reading fair held on Dec. 6, 2012.
The students who attended the fair presented their winning reading fair projects for district wide judging. The fair encouraged students to get excited about reading by breaking down a selected reading and displaying it on a poster board. The students were prepared to make presentations about their book choice and some even chose to dress in costume for the judges. District officials appreciate the support of district staff, representatives from the Boys and Girls Club and Literacy Council, and members of various organizations who gave of their time to serve as judges.
