Kansas man named suspect in bank robbery
Criminal Investigation Division Commander Cedric Davis of the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department had a hunch that the public could be an asset in the apprehension of a suspect in the early morning robbery of a local bank. Days later, he was right, as the S.O. announced a suspect in the case thanks to an anonymous tip from CrimeStoppers.
In a press release issued at 1:33 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, investigators announced the arrest of Marvin Webb, 45, of Girard, Kansas in connection with the Nov. 23 robbery of First Security Bank in Robinsonville. Webb was in custody in Crawford County, Kansas and will be extradited to Tunica. The release notes that Webb is also a “person of interest” in the Oct. 30 robbery of Mahan’s Grocery in Tunica.
