Schulz project gets second wind
Work at the future home of Schulz Xtruded Products Inc. is soon to start up again, according to Economic Development Foundation Head Lyn Arnold.
Arnold said a slow down in dirt moving work was linked to the timing of grant funding. As more grant funds came in, more groundwork would be done.
“In the meantime, there’s been a lot of work behind the scenes,” Arnold told the Board of Supervisors on July 15.
Arnold said much of the equipment at the Robinsonville based facility will be custom built, and plans from Germany for that type of machinery were being translated into American units of measurement. Read more
