Services for George Washington Sowell, 79, of Tunica were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Danny Smith officiating. Burial followed at Surretts Cemetery.
Mr. Sowell, a retired carpenter, passed away Sept. 25 in Tunica. He was born June 5, 1933 in Sledge, Miss.
